Spring EQ is hiring a Non-QM Loan Closer to join our rapidly growing Operations team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience closing Non-QM loans, and a solid understanding of Non-QM loan products and mortgage closing procedures.

• Prepare and review loan closing documents for accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Work closely with Account Managers to ensure accuracy for the Estimated Closing Date
• Review important expiration dates to ensure nothing will expire
• Ensure the rate lock is good through the funding date
• Prepare final closing figures and package
• Balance and disburse loan funds, resolving any outstanding conditions before funding

• 3+ years of Non-QM loan closing experience
• Must have recent experience with Non-QM loans including Bank Statement and/or DSCR.
• Ability to manage a pipeline to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
• Strong knowledge of Non-QM loan products and mortgage closing procedures
• Manage daily tasks to ensure business needs are consistently met
• Blue Sage system knowledge preferred
• Maintain strong attention to detail when working with entity structures

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of Non-QM loan closing experience.
• Minimum high school degree required, associates or bachelor's degree preferred.

• Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods, using a computer and office equipment.
• Frequent use of office tools such as telephones, computers, and filing systems to communicate and document processes.
• Occasional travel to meet with third-party vendors or attend industry conferences.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move office materials or supplies up to 10 lbs.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex operational issues and propose effective solutions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when managing third-party contracts, performance reports, and compliance documentation.

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resolving issues and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal teams.
