The Loan Officer plays a key role in developing and identifying prospective customers through company generated inbound leads. A strong candidate will have a proven track record of success in loan sales and thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment. They will be driven, passionate and flourish in a sales role that is exciting and dynamic.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for converting company provided leads to funded home equity loans.
  • Telephone and online origination of home equity/mortgage loans through marketing campaigns
  • Provide excellent customer service responding to leads in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Engage with consumers, determine their needs and offer the appropriate products.
  • Meet monthly sales goals.
  • Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry and maintain licensing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred  
  • Recent origination experience in the  home lending industry required –Multi State NMLS Licensing
  • Strong telephone sales and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner.
  • Must possess the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate careful decision-making skills.
  • Will need to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to pass a background check for state licensing.
  • Bi-Lingual a plus2+ years of mortgage or home equity loan officer experience required 
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open ended business challenges  
  • Enthusiastically contribution to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement  
  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor
