We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Communications Professional to join our dynamic marketing department within the mortgage industry. This individual will play a pivotal role in enhancing the communication strategies, creating compelling messaging, and ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various marketing materials, including newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, brochures, press releases, and website content.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that messaging is aligned with company goals and industry regulations.
  • Assist in creating communication plans and materials for internal stakeholders to keep employees informed on key developments and company initiatives.
  • Support the marketing team with presentation decks and internal documentation.
  • Ensure brand voice and messaging remain consistent across all communication channels.
  • Work closely with the design and branding teams to produce visually appealing and on-brand content.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the mortgage and real estate markets.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on target audiences to improve communication strategies.
  • Help manage the company's social media presence by creating engaging content and responding to inquiries.
  • Support media relations efforts by drafting press releases and maintaining media contacts.
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and provide communication strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and messaging.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of administration of SharePoint or similar content management software
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn and other business social media communication platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other communication tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience in digital marketing, SEO, or content strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in crisis communication or handling sensitive information.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications or marketing.
