Spring EQ is seeking a full time, experienced  Team Lead for our Third Party Origination Operations  Account Management team in Mount Laurel, NJ.   The Team Lead will be a subject matter expert and first line supervisor for the account management/processing department.

 

The ideal candidate will have successful experience providing guidance for processing home loans, responsibility for distribution of work, reviewing pipelines, and first hand knowledge of  performance coaching. He or she will serve as an escalation contact to help solve system and process issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the team of loan processors
  • Coach and develop loan processors
  • Monitor job performance of loan processors
  • Oversee processor pipelines
  • Assist on loan files when processors are out of the office
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, underwriting & closing on escalations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Spot check loan files for quality submissions to underwriting and provide feedback
  • Maintain a scaled down pipeline of 5 to 10 loans
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years working in the home lending industry
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Loan Processor required
  • Minimum of 2  years team lead experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of mortgage compliance regulations
  • Experience with Conventional loans
  • The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality with the ability to solve open ended business challenges

  • The ideal candidate will know how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment while also working independently with minimal supervision
