Spring EQ is seeking an Analyst to join its growing Broker Risk team.   This role will be on a hybrid location schedule of 3 days per week in our Conshohocken office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk analysis of mortgage brokers and lenders for approval by Spring EQ
  • Assess potential risks by review of application, background checks, financial viability, and experience in the industry
  • Utilize our technology platforms to set up approved partners and to document related communication along with ongoing business dialogue
  • Process applications timely and efficiently
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries with a sense of urgency
  • Assist in tasks that support the team efforts, when necessary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of general business experience involving interaction with clients in the mortgage industry required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products required
  • Great interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both in business writing and verbal communication) with clients and company personnel at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Personal integrity with strong ethics and values
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to work with an onsite and remote team
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and multiple tasks while meeting agreed upon objectives and target dates
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and easily communicate findings
  • Ability to keep confidential and safeguard sensitive information
