Spring EQ is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead marketing and sales development across the organization to increase market velocity, customer satisfaction and retention, and develop and ensure market messaging consistency across all business channels.  


As the CMO for Spring EQ, you will:

  • Work closely with company leadership to define company objectives and translate those objectives into successful marketing strategies and tactics
  • Lead marketing team for brand building, lead generation, and customer retention efforts
  • Impress a rigorous, metrics-driven approach across all marketing channels
  • Work cross functionally with analytics, research, and product teams to develop necessary insight to support messaging approach
  • Bring insight selling into sales and marketing teams and pair it with behavioral design approaches to increase effectiveness of our marketing efforts
  • Lead sales enablement to improve sales force operations and scalability through sales team training, sales material creation, and measuring sales force effectiveness
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures


  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a business focus preferred
  • Mortgage industry experience required, with both consumer call center and third party origination broker marketing channel expertise preferred
  • 10-15+ years of sales enablement and marketing management experience that includes consumer direct, digital marketing, PR and communications
  • Demonstrable experience establishing and leading sales enablement and marketing in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment
  • Successful track record of leveraging data and analytics to understand performance and improve results
  • Significant experience with sales and marketing technology and operations in order to quickly begin building and scaling the system that will drive growth
  • Commitment to leading with curiosity, and transparency, with a willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and dig into the work
